The Mouse Clinical Institute (Institut Clinique de la Souris - iCS), the IGBMC's largest technology platform, is ISO 9001 and NFX 50-900 certified. It is the leading center of the national infrastructures PHENOMIN and CELPHEDIA and a key player in the European and global effort to annotate the mouse genome via the INFRAFRONTIER and IMPC consortia.

For its activities the iCS relies on its IT development and bioinformatic service.

A short term position is opened to be filled as soon as possible to reinforce the service on web application server with database administration and use.

Assignments

In line with the defined objectives, you will work in a team with 2 other people, and you will contribute to the maintenance, implementation and development of web applications.

Functions

₋ Contribute to the maintenance, evolution and troubleshoot of the iCS databases and application web servers.

₋ Participate in technology watch, lead and develop the implementation of our applications.

₋ Analyze, transcribe user needs and write technical specifications.

₋ Carry out software developments in the following environment: Python 3, Django, Django CMS and Flask, PostgreSQL, Linux (Debian), Windows, GitLab collaborative tools.

You have a higher education degree (Bac +4/5) with or without previous experience in a similar position.

L’IGBMC est un institut de Recherche publique de pointe (CNRS, INSERM, Université) dont l’activité est articulée autour de grandes thématiques, certaines nécessitant l’utilisation de modèles animaux. Le poste est à pourvoir au sein du département Animalerie de l’ICS (Institut Clinique de la Souris) dont l’activité est la création, le maintien et la caractéridation de lignées de rongeurs génétiquement modifiés.

Assignments

Assurer l’élevage et la maintenance des animaux, ainsi que la maintenance de leur environnement.

Functions

Activités principales :

Gestion de la zootechnie :
Suivi des animaux et du bien-être animal
Change des cages
Application du programme d’enrichissement
Entretien des lieux d’hébergement des animaux
Contrôle de l’environnement des animaux (air, lumière, température)
Assurance d’une interface technique et scientifique avec les équipes de recherche et les utlisateurs
Sélection des lots d’animaux pour des procédures expérimentales spécifiques
Mise en œuvre des contrôles sanitaires
Relevé les dysfonctionnements et engager des opérations correctives
Encadrement et accompagnement de l’activité des stagiaires et remplaçants
Participation aux astreintes (week-ends, jours fériés)

Gestion de la reproduction :
Mise en accouplement des animaux
Surveillance des gestations
Identification des animaux
Sevrage des portées
Evaluation des phénotypes et d’une souffrance potentielle de l’animal

Gestion de la traçabilité :
Gestion de stocks liés à l’activité
Suivi et amélioration du bien-être animal
Participation possible à la Structure du Bien-Etre Animal (SBEA)
Tenue informatique des registres des entrées et sorties des animaux (logiciels spécifiques)

Profile

Formation dans le domaine des sciences et techniques de l’animal de laboratoire (niveau BAC, BAC pro….)
Etre titulaire de la formation réglementaire "application de procédures expérimentales aux animaux", niveau 2.
Une expérience de terrain au sein d'une animalerie serait un plus.
