Services

The Institut Clinique de la Souris (ICS), institut of excellence in translational research and functional genomics provides scientists with a broad set of highly specialized services regarding mouse models for human pathologies, develops and shares relevant research and development program through the PHENOMIN project. Genetic researches are conducted and supported combining generation, validation and phenotyping analysis of mutant mice model (physiological, behavioral and anatomical analysis).

ICS service offers consist in:

• The generation of customized and ready to usegenetically modified mouse
• The standardized,comprehensive or advanced functional characterization and validation of geneticengineering models, and pharmacological studies (Drug target identification orvalidation / Efficacy / Risks evaluation).
• Usefulresources and tools from the field of mouse phenogenomics

ICS is part of PHENOMIN, the National Infrastructure in Biology and Health which has been granted in 2011 by the Investissements d'Avenir program.The Infrastructure gathers 3 French complementary centers to serve and support the scientific community for the best use of mouse phenogenomics in Research. Its missions and realizations enable to

• Address services to the academic and industrial scientific communities
• Build a unique resource of model animals for fundamental reasearch, biotechnological and biopharmaceutical innovations
