American Association for Laboratory Animal Science

The AALAS National Meeting is the largest gathering in the world of professionals concerned with the production, care, and use of laboratory animals. Each fall since 1950,
the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science has held its annual National Meeting. The program is designed to have topics relevant to the entire laboratory animal science field.


Meeting Features
• Learning: Science, Techniques, Management, Animal Welfare, Ethics, Regulatory Compliance,
Medicine Methodology, Facility Operations
• Networking: Social Events, Technician Programs, Affiliate and District Meetings, Exhibit Hall
• Recognition: Annual Awards (Griffin, Brewer, Garvey, Bhatt, Collins, Technician of the Year,
Technician Publication, Poster Session), Foundation Donors, Opportunities to Present
• Outreach: Local Schools Program, Public Outreach Training, Resources

Attendees/Presenters
AALAS’ National Meeting includes about 300 educational sessions and posters covering a wide range of topics designed to keep attendees on the leading edge of their field.Sessions take the form of panel discussions, posters, seminars, special topic lectures,technical trade presentations, and workshops.

ICS will attend the meeting.
